The Crest hosted 12 of our distance runners as they contested the State Champs meeting at the beginning of February. They were obviously going a bit quicker than 5km/hr and some notables include:
- Simon Magner took 3 seconds off the boys under 15 previous held by G Lawson set in 1985. Simon finished 4th in the Mens E race in 17:14.96s.

- Younger brother Jacob set a club record for boys under 13 and under 14 going around in 18:05.64s.

- Nicola Christou took 15 seconds off her age group records 14,15 & 16 in 20:14.46s

- Kieran Tall was the club’s best placed finisher in 4th with 14:22.55s.
